Accounting
The Accounting Program combines lecture and hands-on work to develop accounting and business skills. As an accounting student, you will work extensively with all aspects of the accounting cycle to prepare yourself for entry-level employment in a variety of accounting and financial settings.
The Accounting Degree prepares you for employment in entry-level positions in bookkeeping or general accounting. Upon completion of the degree, you will have skills useful in a public, private, or a government accounting career.
As the economy grows and the laws change, the number of business establishments will increase, requiring more accountants and auditors to set up books, prepare taxes, and provide management advice.
You may also use this concentration to pursue a four-year degree in accounting, or perhaps even a license as a Certified Public Accountant with additional coursework from area institutions.

Accounting graduates find work in bookkeeping, at CPA firms, and at banks.

23,000 -$35,000 year. Some students will find themselves in employment that is based on commission.
