Are you looking to start a career in the business or technology arena? Then Kilian Community College is the place to start. With the majority of our instructors working outside of the College, our business students get the opportunity to learn firsthand from people who work every day in the business world. Our programs prepare you for a variety of occupations in industry, business, and community organizations. Perhaps best of all, most of the programs in this area also provide the flexibility for you to pursue a bachelor’s degree if you desire after you’ve completed your work at Kilian.
In today’s marketplace, most computer programmers and information systems personnel are required to have a bachelor’s degree. We took that into consideration when we developed this program. We worked closely with four-year institutions to create an Information Systems degree that allows for transfer to a Bachelor of Science degree program in Information Systems or Management Information Systems. Our degree gives you the fundamental concepts of programming and computer languages and should be used as your stepping stone to a four-year degree and a career in the technology field.
